The Lavender Loft

Blair’s Airbnb was a great stay, especially for the price! The location was perfect, with plenty of great eats nearby like a brewery, an Italian restaurant, and a cozy coffee spot. Plus, it was only about a 20–30 minute drive to all the beaches, which made it super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Very clean, very friendly Host! :) Such a cute apartment! I would definitely book again. The only down fall, which is NO FAULT of the host. It’s an older apartment that’s been remodeled. So you can hear the neighbors slightly, I had tons of homework to do so it wasn’t ideal. But if you aren’t trying to study you more than likely won’t notice lol. Other than that it’s lovely! Price was very affordable! Thanks Blair :)

Really nice bed is amazingly comfortable!

The place was beautiful, well laid out, and had great amenities. I loved the purple theme and the bed was really comfortable. The walls were thin, however, and I could hear the family on the lower floor. Downtown was only a mile walk, which was awesome.

Lavender Lofts worked well for a short stay, and overall I had a positive experience. The washer and dryer functioned great, the stove and cookware were solid, and everything was clean and as pictured. That said, I would strongly recommend it for short visits rather than extended stays. I was there for about two and a half weeks, and the space felt quite tight for living rather than vacationing. Storage is minimal (one small closet and a lightweight bookshelf), so longer stays require some creativity. The bathroom itself is spacious, but there’s limited shelving or counter space for personal items. I ended up purchasing a few small organizational items to make it workable. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher or dish-drying rack, and only a small set of towels is provided. Additionally, the walls and floors are fairly thin, so you’ll likely hear neighbors during your stay. For a quick trip, weekend, or short-term visit, it’s perfectly fine and in a good location. Nice place for quick trip. You can definitely hear what others are doing in the attached units. Hot water goes quick! Those would be the two things to think about before renting. But overall good for the couple days we were in Wilmington.

Blair’s Airbnb in Wilmington, NC was absolutely wonderful. The space was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully set up to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. Very cozy. Bed was super comfortable! I didn’t realize that it was stairs but that’s my fault. I have nerve damage so climbing was an issue. I still loved the place. Seemed bigger in pictures but it still worked out for us. Blair thought of everything when it comes to those things you need and forget. Will book again!

Blair was very communicative & quick to respond to any questions. Rented the place for a colleague in town for a film festival & they had nothing but great things to say about the place. Would definitely recommend!

Place was just as described. Good for a short stay - close to downtown and had everything you need at the apartment to cook, sleep and shower. Was nice to have access to laundry machines in the unit and coffee. Also, not having to worry about a key/ getting access to the place was very convenient since we arrived late and left early in the morning.

I had an amazing stay here, the aesthetic is beautiful and not to mention the host is so friendly and responsive, she offered food recommendations as well as gave clear instructions on how to check in. I would definitely stay here again

Love the decor or great place for adventure in downtown exploring

Wilmington is very expensive area. The monthly fluctuation in pricing was confusing as I was there for 6 months and every month a different price. Each month there were charges for cleaning........never had 1 cleaning.

Good for a weekend, not extended stays. LOCATION: It's 5-7 minutes from downtown and 15-20 minutes from beaches. Tons of restaurants and bars close by--options are endless. If you're looking for a "I wish this was my house" experience, keep looking. The house is in a lower middle class neighborhood where homes/yards are not well maintained. I wouldn't say I felt unsafe, but "strange people" wandered the streets which made me be overly aware of my surroundings. BATH: Small and no ventilation. BEDROOM: No dresser and one hangar in the closet. No suitcase stand. BED: linens and pillows were average. No full length mirror, which was very disappointing when trying to dress each day. KITCHEN: Adequately stocked. Keurig available w/complimentary k-cups. No dishwasher - be prepared to wash your dishes. ENTRY: Staircase needs a magic eraser and some bleach. LIVING: Ikea quality furniture all throughout. Very budget friendly furnishings. TV hung a bit too high. For the price, it's great!

Lavender Loft is a great place to stay! Convenient to downtown and to the university. Blair is a fantastic host and super responsive. The place was very clean and exactly as presented. Will stay again here or any of her other properties. 5++ Stars!

The lavender lounge was great- everything we needed was provided. The full kitchen with all kitchen ware available to us was very convenient. Everything was so clean and such a cute and well decorated space that made us feel right at home. Blair was a very responsive host- this was our first ever AirBNB stay and we didn’t know how to use a keypad- to get in. She was very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the location.

Clean place, mostly stocked. Missing some things in the kitchen and the tv remote didn’t work. Bathroom hook was broken, nowhere to really set your stuff bathroom or elsewhere. great for an affordable place to stay if it weren’t for the cleaning fee! Adds basically the cost of an extra night. Also if there’s anyone in the other units the walls are VERY thin and you can hear everything. Overall, it was clean and that’s the most important thing.

Place is as described, had a flaw that could had been address. Would consider.

Enjoyed this stay in very peaceful and private apartment. We were looking for a place to stay between college move out and move in dates and this was a perfect option for us.

Great little Airbnb. In the heart of the Soda Pop district, walkable to breweries, ice cream, restaurants and downtown. Only 15/20 minutes to the beach. We had everything we needed and then some. We will definitely book again when visiting our daughter.

I really enjoyed my time here. Very close to downtown and the drive to the beach wasn’t bad at all. Would definitely stay again.

I had a great time here, Blair was always understanding and quick to respond when I needed help. She was very accommodating and made sure I felt right at home!

Our stay at the lavender loft was absolutely fantastic. Check in was super simple and Blair made sure to communicate instructions and parking clearly and multiple times. The loft itself was beautiful, clean, and perfect for us. We had one minor maintenance issue during our stay and Blair responded immediately and had somebody come out immediately as well. Absolutely no complaints, if we are ever in the area we are definitely booking again!

Looks just like the pics. Squeaky clean and comfortable. Easy check in/out. Fresh and new inside. It’s kind of walkable to a couple places but def a drive to downtown. I got stuck in the gravel behind the house and had to call AAA to pull me out. Plenty of street parking though, so easy problem to avoid.

Excellent stay and well worth the price. Only downside is very thin walls and can hear everything in the other units

This place was nice to stay for a few days while I was on rotation, especially for the price. I will say if there are other guests staying in the other rentals, you will likely hear them since walls are pretty thin and floors are pretty creaky. This didn’t really bother me. I hadn’t initially realized the place allowed pets, so unfortunately there was pet hair that clung to things, not a significant amount but if you are allergic, I would avoid.

The next time I come to Wilmington, I would LOVE to stay at the Lavender Loft again! Great space!

This was a very cute and convenient place! Finding the original parking lot was a bit difficult but only because it was dark when we arrived, but there’s also parking right in front of the place too. Easy check in, clean space, and comfy furniture. Area is located centrally and the place is quiet too. Blair was VERY quick to respond to any questions and concerns and was very hospitable! Will definitely be on the list to stay if we come back.

Approximately .8 mile walk to river walk, so plan to Uber. Home was clean and exactly as described. Host is very communicative and only minor/reasonable tasks requested at check out.
