Very convenient to everything

Perfect for what we needed - close enough to downtown it was easy to drive or even walk, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Our dog loved walking downtown with us, very dog friendly city.

Perfect for a young couple or a solo trip! Blair was a friendly and very responsive host. The place was very clean, nicely decorated and conveniently located.

About 45 minutes after I entered the room, I contacted Blair because there was a horrible odor throughout the place. I asked her if she could please cancel the reservation so I could go somewhere else. She told me she would send someone to “clean.” However, the person she sent arrived about two hours later and only came to identify the smell. He himself confirmed that there was indeed a bad odor. About 30 minutes later, Blair emailedme and said she was very sorry but that she couldn’t do anything about it. Even after I explained that I had driven all night and worked all day, it didn’t seem to matter. There was zero empathy and zero humanity. It felt like the only thing that mattered to them was the money, not the well-being of the people staying there. If you rent this place and have any kind of issue, Blair will most likely not help you. She never called me proactively, and even when I emailed her, it took about 30 minutes to get a response. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish! The check-in process was smooth and stress-free, and the space was exactly as described. The home was sparkling clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making us feel well-taken care of throughout our trip. The location was ideal for the Wilmington Marathon's so we could walk to pick up our packets as well as walk home after the race.

It was a nice place and I enjoyed my stay, I will say be careful on those steps and turn the lights on when going down them. I twisted my ankle on the last step of the first row coming down

Nice and clean. Stocked well with pots and pans along with seasonings for cooking. Shower nice and hot. Parking is secluded and private. Bed clean and comfortable. No complaints. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Wilmington.

The house is situated in a great area, close to historical Wilmington downtown. There was enough space for two people. Lots of parking. We really enjoyed our time there. You must go to FOLKS CAFE, just down the street. Great coffee and baked goods.

The host were amazing, they reached out well before my check in date to thank me for choosing them and ask if I needed anything. They repeatedly checked in through my entire two week stay. Super grateful to them and the place they provided. Looking forward to staying there again next time I’m in town. 10/10 would recommend 💯👍

Blair was a fantastic host. Very communicative & responsive. I rented 2 of her places for filmmakers visiting the Cucalorus Film Festival & they were very very happy I did. Nothing but glowing things to say about the place. Would definitely recommend & rent again.

Overall great spot. Was there on business and arrived pretty late into the night. Host made it easy to check in. Great place to stay if you are going to Wilmington.

So comfortable. Perfect location. LOVED THE STAY!

The décor and overall style of the space are beautiful — it’s clear someone put care into making it visually appealing. The furniture is fairly basic and not especially comfortable; the couches in particular is uncomfortable & hard & can’t imagine sleeping on the pullout part. Although the main bed was super comfortable. This stay works well if you just need a place to sleep, but it might not be the most comfortable spot if you plan to lounge or spend much time indoors. When I arrived, the unit hadn’t been cleaned, which was disappointing. The property manager responded quickly after I reached out and offered to switch units. I didn’t see the message until the next morning and had already washed and changed the bedding myself, but the new unit was clean and well-maintained. The initial offer of a late checkout didn’t suit my needs, but we ultimately agreed on a $100 refund toward the cleaning fee.

Stay was really nice! There were some dirty towels hanging from the shower when we arrived and some covered in hair….besides that, the stay was pleasant and really close to downtown.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was exactly as pictured and described, and the location was perfect for exploring Wrightsville Beach.

All I have to say is it was a great stay although I do wish there were more kitchen appliances like pans to bake and also newer stuff such as the cups they were most of them broken but overall a great stay

This is a very comfy and quiet place. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and the list of restaurants & things to do was also helpful. Blair remained available whenever we needed assistance, yet never intruded upon our privacy. Thank you for being a great host!

Blair’s home was very comfortable and relaxing for the weekend. Everything was clean and neat as well. Would highly recommend on getting this home again!

I had a pleasant stay, but the stairs posed a bit of a challenge. The door wouldn’t open or close if you left your bags in the entryway. I’m quite sensitive to heat, so the ACs didn’t keep me from sweating at night, but that was probably just my personal preference. On the bright side, the host reached out to me the day before my stay to inform me that there was a broken leg on the couch and that it would be replaced soon. They were very proactive about addressing any issues. Overall, I would stay there again.

The Ivy Villa was just as described. Had everything you needed. Bed is comfortable, too. Location is close to downtown, and about 30 minutes to Wrightsville and Carolina beaches. Tons of food options and shopping nearby! We had a great stay!

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely villa in Wilmington, NC! The location was perfect—close to everything I needed—yet still quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Good for two people. Close to downtown. Not the nicest area but never felt unsafe, definitely up and coming part of town. Would recommend wandering cone creamery, less than half a mile away -- so cute and delicious.

The stay was okay overall. The couch and bar stools were extremely uncomfortable. I work remotely and spent a lot of time there and it was not ideal. The neighborhood is close to downtown but other than that the neighborhood is not the greatest. Also, there weren’t any curtains on certain windows that provided actual privacy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice.

I’ve stayed in the same building but a different unit before. Both stays have been incredible, Blair is both very kind and helpful with her instructions. Her place is both close to everything downtown while also being out of the way. I will definitely look to her any visit I have in Wilmington in the future.

Great place to stay for one or two people! Walkable distance to downtown Wilmington, and a decent drive to Wrightsville. The couch is not very comfortable, if you plan to stay in during your visit. The place was exceptionally clean. We enjoyed our visit!

Was a great air bnb, very clean, had plenty of pots and pans to cook with, comfy bed, and within walking distance to downtown Wilmington. Only downside was it wasn’t in the best neighborhood, but overall was a great stay!

Very nice place, close to downtown. Thin walls, but overall a nice place to stay.

Sadly my parents weren’t happy about their stay. When my father went to dry off after a shower the towels smelled and the sheets also smelled. Floors weren’t clean - there was stuff left in the washer/dryer when they arrived. Also, no dresser to put clothes in for a week long stay. Decor was cute but unit B definitely needed proper cleaning and maintenance.

Very nice interior for an airbnb. Was stocked with everything you might need to cook with which was super nice! Location was a bit sketch but not too bad in general.

Everything was great except we expected to have a whole house and this was actually a regular house that’s been converted into 4 tiny apartments. It was mostly clean except a smell of cat pee upon entering the house at the bottom of the steps maybe some pets and animals have peed there and maybe no one cleaned it up, I don’t know. I had to wipe down and dust the top of the fridge as soon as I arrived because when I travel I bring a foldable soft bag electric travel cooler for my meal preps and when I went to store it on top the fridge it was very dusty and nasty and I had to spend 10 minutes wiping it down & cleaning it, which I don’t agree with when I’m paying for cleaning fees on a unit that means it should be clean and I shouldn’t have to clean as soon I arrive after driving 6 hours so I was not to happy with that. The thermostat does not tell you what temperature it is inside the house it only tells you the temperature of the air you want to blow from the mini split which is weird.

This was one of the best travel experiences I've had. I love Wilmington, and I'm so glad I was able to take my girlfriend there. Next time we stay in Wilmington, we'll be sure to book with the Ivy Villa!

Blair’s place was very convient for our stay very close to our family that lives here in Wilmington close to downtown and the cargo district. Everything was very clean and organized, only down side was walking through the front door there was a strong smell of ammonia not sure why or what it was but other than that it was a great stay.

Lovely place to stay! Decent amount of food/activities nearby, and the host was helpful and responsive with everything we needed. Will likely stay here again if I’m ever in Wilmington again.

Great value, loved the bed, kitchen and bathroom. Living area is cozy but had the key requirements. Neighborhood is in midst of some renovations. A few good restaurants nearby. Little distance to downtown for walking, but central to Wilmington for driving. Host was great with communication, and everything was just as described.

I have stayed in a few different Airbnb’s in the Wilmington area but this one was by far my favorite. It’s in a great location. Close to the city night life, restaurants, grocery stores and about 15 minutes from Wrightsville Beach. There’s not only parking in the back of the property but also street parking at no cost. This property does have 4 units. I know there was at least 1 night during my stay where all the units were full. I only know that because all four spots in the back of the property were taken. I was a bit concerned about this when I made the reservation, but honestly had I not seen the cars I would have never known anyone else was staying there. I would definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.
