Serene in Scottsdale-5BR w/Pool + Hot Tub + Gym

Great space and everything we needed for our stay.

Unfortunately this was a definite misleading rental. The home photos are nice but so many factors reduces the property to a $155 a night stay. The property managers are superficially "cooperative" yet provide zero actual assistance during the stay. We walked in and walked straight out. 💯 read the reviews and buyer beware this is a DO NOT rent listing.

It was my birthday. They made us check in late. The house was dirty. Trash was left in the house. My guess had to help clean it. The TV was not working. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working. None of the outdoor lights were working. The pool light wasn’t working. The icemaker in the refrigerator was broken. The floors were dirty trash left in the kitchen full I guess had to take it out. The heat wasn’t working and one side of the house the spa was not clean and stunk. They never heated the pool like I requested The movie theater movie never played. It kept buffering because of the Wi-Fi was broken or not working correctly the whole trip was just absolutely unacceptable for what I paid and the worst part is I got no compensation except for the cleaning fee $300 which is absolutely not good enough. I asked for one day to be re-issued to my car. They said no of all these things that were wrong was absolutely unacceptable. I did not get what I paid for. Very upset !!!

Luke was a great host. No issues at all. Location is great and enough room for a big group. Theater room and outside property is a big plus.

This place was amazing! Perfect for our business trip — super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The house was even nicer than the pictures and had plenty of space for everyone to relax after long days. The location was great and check-in was super easy. We’d definitely stay here again!

This house is so beautiful! The backyard is private and feels like your own oasis. The hot tub is a WIN! The house is very large and spacious for people to spread out. The theater room is so great! The kitchen is well stocked with an espresso machine.

My stay at this Airbnb was unfortunately very disappointing. The host was not attentive, and many of the amenities advertised in the listing were not in working condition. The movie theater didn’t work at all, and none of the TVs functioned properly. Some wouldn’t connect, several screens stayed completely black, and the only TV that did turn on was in an odd upstairs room with two beds facing each other and a couch that wasn’t even facing the TV. That TV also had noticeable dead pixels and cords hanging down, which made it feel unfinished. Other major issues included a dirty, smelly, poorly equipped gym; ceiling fans that shook so violently it looked unsafe; a non-functional water feature at the front of the home; a washer and dryer that didn’t work; and a fireplace in the master bedroom that was also non-operational. Overall, the home felt cheap compared to the listing photos and didn’t match what was advertised. This property needs significant updates before it should be rented ou

This is a beautiful home. it is very inviting and peaceful. There was plenty of space to comfortably accommodate everyone (7 of us). We loved the kitchen, it was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The pool area needs more lighting, we couldn't enjoy the outdoor space during the evening time. As a family event, we were excited to watch a movie the last night of our stay, HOWEVER, this didn't happen because the media equipment didn't work. We contacted Luke who tried to instruct us how to turn it on, but we were not able to connect. This was a big disappointment! My son wanted to use the gym, it needs some refreshing. Luke was always responsive. Overall my family enjoyed our stay, thanks for a memorable and relaxing mini vacay.

It was an enjoyable stay in a very nice, comfortable and well-furnished house. The house has everything needed for a vacation and is close to the most popular areas. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the linings were clean and inviting. The pool and the outdoor areas were enjoyable with adequate pool towels. Communication was excellent and Luke and his team were responsive and helpful. My family and I truly enjoyed this house and out stay.

Luke’s place was amazing!!!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Our previous Airbnb was cancelled last minute and Luke was very accommodating with our last minute booking! The photos matched the Airbnb! Everything was spotless! We enjoyed the views! The pool was affected by the monsoon before we arrived and Luke took care of getting the pool cleaned asap so we could enjoy it! He was very responsive and I would 100% stay here again!

Our stay on this property was ok! Super close to old town & was super great. Unfortunately the cleaners weren’t done when we arrived to the property for another hour or so and they had to go over the kitchen due to the state of the last people who stayed & we had a couple things break on our stay, but overall it was good! Kept it cold & had a great time. Luke was super communicative and after seeing the broken refrigerator he helped refund some groceries for us which helped a lot. It was my first time in Scottsdale pre-wedding and we loved it! Thank you Luke!

what a beautiful home. we had 8 of us plus a baby and it was very spacious and accommodating. one of favorite places we’ve stayed at in az! luke was very responsive and helpful. this house was equipped with everything you needed, kitchen fully stocked! definitely would recommend this beautiful home!

Unfortunately we were disappointed due to the fact that when we arrived the pool was completely drained. The pool was the main reason for us choosing this house. We checked in on Thursday and we were not able to use the pool until Saturday. We checked out Monday morning so we were only able to get 2 days out of the pool. Again, the main reason we chose this house. Luke did get back to us pretty quickly after we made him aware of the situation but it was unfortunate that the pool company couldn’t come out in Saturday morning. Over half of our stay was already gone and we didn’t get to enjoy the pool that was advertised. The AC unit on the side of the house with the master room did not run efficiently at all. The master room and the room above it was extremely hot our entire stay. When we arrived the maintenance outside of the house was pretty disappointing as well. One entire seating section looked awful and had leaves everywhere along with the seating area looking a mess.

Good place, was a slight issue with the pool but the host addressed it in a timely manner. Would come back!

The house was beautiful - looked exactly like the pictures. We had no maintenance issues all week except the lights in the pool are inoperable which made it almost impossible to swim at night. Located close to grocery stores, restaurants and other attractions. The back yard is very spacious and comfortable.

We had some trouble getting the pool to heat correctly and the hot tub wasn’t working the first few days. Luke was very quick to respond to our concerns. The house has many other maintenance issue that need to be addressed. We did enjoy the pool and the layout of the house worked well for the 10 of us. Overall we had a good week and enjoyed the house

For a group of 10 this house was perfect! We had more than enough space. Everything was beautiful and if we struggled with something (the the hot tub) Luke responded almost instantly. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!

The house was really nice and in a great location. Fully stocked kitchen, towels, games, outdoor activities and the amenities were really nice. The space worked perfectly for our group of 6 adults & 6 kids with plenty of beds and large common areas. The indoor/outdoor living space was really nice too. Luke was super responsive. We ran into trouble getting into the house due to the keypad being finicky. We also couldn’t use the theater room due to the audio not working which was a major bummer. Luke did send someone out but they were unable to fix the issue. The grill’s igniter was broken. It worked when we lit it with a lighter, but the flames were super low so it took forever to cook our food. Considering the high end appliances everywhere else (Viking, Thermador etc.) we were surprised that the grill didn’t really work. Overall our stay was really great with just a few issues.

Amazing home, as pictured! Great space for large groups (we had 8 adults and 2 children and plenty of space). The pool heating is very effective, pool gets very warm which was nice as the temperature outside was a bit chilly. Luke was very responsive to all of our requests - we did have an issue with the theatre space not working, but Luke sent over a technician asap to look into it. There is no door to the bedroom space upstairs and sound does carry, however everything else was perfect.

We had a group of 10 of us and it was the perfect size home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great location! We will be back.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! The layout and space of the house were perfect for our group, and everything was spotless and thoughtfully organized. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights of the house was the amazing movie room, perfect for relaxing together, and the hot tub, which was a wonderful way to unwind after a day of exploring. The outdoor landscaping was stunning, featuring a gorgeous rose garden and beautiful palm trees that added to the relaxing ambiance. The location was ideal—just 10 to 20 minutes from everything we wanted to do, including dining in Old Town, hiking, and shopping. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. Accessing the property was straightforward, and the parking right in front was super convenient. We loved every moment of our stay and highly recommend it!

Luke was attentive to all of our needs during our stay. Hosted a 70th birthday surprise party for my mother and it was a great space to have the event. He was very prompt in responding and courteous throughout the whole experience.

Great place. It does have a space for a gym but no real equipment or weight. Pool is beautiful but the charge to heat is $200 a day. Kind ridiculous as it costs my friends about $50 a month to heat theirs year round d.

10 people, everyone enjoyed their stay. The lock wasn’t working during our stay but we improvised and made the host aware. Host was responsive and helpful. Check out was easiest I’ve ever had at a short term rental so that was nice. Home is off a main road but it’s not noticeable which is good. Everything you could want in Scottsdale is within 20 minutes. We go to AZ a lot and this house is great for entertaining lots of people and still feeling like you have room to breathe.

House is massive! Theater room was incredible with power reclining seating. Kitchen, living space, and backyard were awesome. Can’t recommend enough!

Generally, we had a great time at this house. Luke was a friendly and extremely helpful/responsive host. There were a few things that we noticed that made it not as ideal as we had hoped. Our check-in time was pushed back by an hour due to some delay with the cleaning service. Check-in is already fairly late in the day (4 pm), so having it pushed back made it so that my friends and I had to wander around town with our luggage for an extra hour. It was also frustrating because this happened to be the nicest day of our stay and we had hoped to use the pool before dinner. This leads me to the next issue: the rest of the weekend was unseasonably chilly, so we hoped to use the hot tub. It never got above lukewarm temps even after trying to follow all of the instructions given to us. Understandably no one could come repair it at the last minute. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were just a few minor things that we came upon throughout the weekend that prevented it from being perfect.

Amazing home that is actually bigger than the pictures show. The pool is so beautiful and there were lots of inflatables for us to use. The outdoor area is amazing. Truly a beautiful home! There are some things in the home that were broken—one of the patio fans over the outdoor table was spinning so violently that we felt unsafe turning the fans on, the door from the living room never locked to the outside, the handle to the sliding doors was broken, and the faucet in the master shower detached. Also, Luke did not warn me in advance that there would be lawn mowers entering the backyard during our Friday afternoon (and I checked the house rules and listing to confirm that this isn’t in there), and we were a little off put they showed up unannounced while we were in the pool.

I have to say the pictures and descriptions don’t do this home justice. It was large enough for a big group but also roomy enough for privacy. The location provides privacy and closeness to all Scottsdale has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay .some things that stood out were : the amenities , gym and movie room were excellent touches. A lot of clean towels and comfortable beds and bedding. Ample parking and backyard entertaining space . I give the home a 10/10 and will likely stay here again

Beautiful house we loved the stay

This property was amazing , beautiful backyard. We had 11 people and we were able to safely fit in the home did not feel crowded. Rooms are very spicy and big was in really good condition and the host was extremely responsive and helpful.

This is a beautiful, huge space that worked perfect for my family of 5. We absolutely loved the theater room and pool. Luke was very responsive and quickly answered the few questions I did have. We would definitely return!

Great place! Worked perfect for our stay.

We stayed here for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! The house is huge and was definitely big enough for 10 guests so nobody felt like they were on top of each other. The pool was shaded in areas which we appreciated, and the outside patio was nice to hang out on. This was probably the most well-stocked Airbnb I've ever stayed at, it had every kitchen utensil you could think of. Luke was responsive when I messaged him with a few questions as well. Thanks for a great trip!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cactus House! The pool was stocked with plenty of tubes to float on and the water was a perfect temperature. The master bed was very comfortable.

Luke's place was PERFECT for our group of ladies! The home had everything we needed plus more! We loved the outdoor sitting areas and the master bedroom king bed had the most comfy mattress I've ever slept on! And the sheets were of high quality and super nice! I'd definitely book this place again!

Huge house with so many amenities!! Lots of rooms and more importantly bathrooms. Well appointed and stocked and host was extremely responsive. A little challenging to find it the first day in the dark and you have to watch for steps throughout the property. But otherwise a really great experience.

The house was on a busier street. Maybe I missed that listing but wasn’t the best but also was fine. The speaker system is extremely old and complicated. We didn’t have music in the house at all. When we contacted the seller about it, he responded that he was going to look into it and then never followed up. We ended up being able to figure out one of the issues in the theater room. However, the network connectivity is terrible in the house. If you’re planning on actually spending time at the house, bring a speaker. Positives. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and the house was super clean. It’s also beautiful. All in all the group of us girls had a great time. The house is definitely worth what you pay. The speakers just cause, a little inconvenience. Definitely would put in the listing to bring your own speaker.

Great house.

We enjoyed a week with the whole family at Luke's place in Scottsdale. Everyone ( ages 65 to 2 ) enjoyed the stay! The accommodations were beautiful and the 4 kiddos spent countless hours in the heated pool! When we had questions, Luke and Team were quick to respond. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and the outdoor area was AWESOME. Pro’s: - Outdoor area - felt like a hotel! - Location/accessibility to restaurants, the highway and grocery stores - Kitchen - plenty of cooking utensils - Beds were super comfortable - Lots of linens - Luke was super responsive - Lots of on suite bathrooms Con’s: - the property inside is SUPER run down and cheap. Major maintenance is needed. The tables and chairs were unstable/missing hardware. The hardware in the walls was falling out. Seats weren’t attached to the bottom stools at the bar, cabinet doors were falling off in the kitchen, the garbage disposal didn’t work. My friend called the interior a pig with lipstick… thought that summed it up well.

The pictures on the site doesn't give you the real magnificence of this property.. it was truly a paradise. I enjoyed it so much that I want to bring my children and grandchildren to this amazing place. If affordable for you please go for the experience. Lastly, Luke was very accessible and available for all my needs.

We stayed for two nights, and it was great, we felt right at home… rooms were clean, beds super comfy, beautiful home… we wished we didn’t have to leave!!!

Overall Luke was a great host. He was attentive and very responsive when issues occurred. The home is beautiful; however, we had some issues with heating the pool, the patio door didn’t lock and one night there was no hot water.

This property really felt like home! It was a perfect setup for our family, and in a location that made it quick to get to everywhere we needed to in Scottsdale. We didn’t want to leave!
