Beautiful and peaceful place!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was exactly what we wanted and just as described and showed in the listing. We stayed here for a week and wished we could have stayed longer! The cabin was impeccably clean, amenities were as described. It was thoughtfully decorated and cute! The hot tub was amazing and we loved the comfortable furniture! The deck was perfect with views of the mountains and enjoyed listening to the small nearby creek. We had the best time and already want to return!

The home was extraordinarily clean, beautiful, and so comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the host was incredibly helpful and kind. The location was great, the cabin was very quiet and peaceful, and the two electric fireplaces were a cozy, easy-to-use touch. Perfect for our family, including a 3-year-old. We’d absolutely stay again.

House was beautiful amazing location for the ski resort down the road, heard noises at night sounded like mice in the walls never saw one though and owner made it clear he was watching us the whole time through cameras outside felt uncomfortable and had snowstorm roll in so we left a day early

The place was great and in a great location! The house was clean upon arrival and very comfortable and cozy on colder winter evenings.

This cabin is beautifully decorated and has all the little details like blankets on the couch and so much more. Also the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook, we did our grocery shopping at Publix. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioners, soap and blow dryers. The most exciting space is the deck, comfortable furniture with pillows and the hot tub to relax the stress away while enjoying the most amazing views of the mountains. We have amazing weather for Jan. so spent most of our time relaxing on the deck. Our girls trip at this cabin was perfect and we are already planning our next trip.

Thomas's cabin surpassed our expectations! It was the perfect place for a peaceful, quick mountain getaway. It was absolutely spotless, the views were incredible and we had everything we needed during our stay. The huge hot tub with mountain views was definitely the highlight of the trip. Unlike most airbnbs we've stayed at, this one just seemed design for comfort. The couches were awesome with the electric reclining feature, the beds were heavenly, the fireplace in the living room was amazing for warmth and ambiance, and even the bath towels and mats felt spa-like. I look forward to coming back again in the future!

This was a fantastic experience! The place was excellent, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thomas was top-notch—responsive, helpful, and very accommodating. The unit is situated in a great area that made exploring easy and fun. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our time at Riley’s Retreat. Everything was great! The house was perfect for our group and loved everything about it.

Cleanest rental and best bed we have ever stayed at!! The towels were fluffy and not washed to death. The hot tub was clean and perfect! Garbage bags, clothes and dishwasher liquids were provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The whole place and the furniture looked brand new!!

Lovely home furnished with anything you could need or want! And, close to everything we wanted to see. We enjoyed peak fall foliage during our stay, including from the deck of Riley’s Retreat. Thomas was a wonderful host- very quick to answer questions and provide advice. We will definitely make Riley’s Retreat our go to mountain cabin.

The picture looks exactly like it is. The views are amazing. The house is very clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The patio is large and the patio furniture is very comfortable. Thomas was easy to contact. The driveway is tricky, we just took as wide a turn up as we could and drove up. It’s easier to turn around at the top and drive back down. Overall, if you are looking for a great view, relaxing environment, and a great place to stay, this is the place.

Warm and cozy mountain retreat with stunning views. Tasteful mountain decor and impeccably clean!

The cabin was impeccably clean and in a great location: about halfway between lots of hiking in the parks and Asheville and all the exciting things to see and do there. Everything was easy and taken care of by the host! We will definitely be staying here again when we return to the area.

The house was everything plus more. It’s everything listed. Pictures matched perfectly. Great location. We rode motorcycles in. Road is paved all the way to it. No issues with the entrance to the driveway. Everything was beyond perfect. Will definitely be staying again next time I’m there. Hot tub was great as well and plenty of parking.

My wife and I have traveled a lot and this has been our favorite place yet - by a long shot. Place was pristine, views were perfect. I would recommend it to everyone but then I wouldn’t be able to book again 😬

Great place to stay.

When I tell you this place is adorable, please know, it's ADORABLE! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Riley's Retreat. We enjoyed it so much that we even stayed "home" one day instead of going out to explore (and the weather on this day was great!). The bedrooms have ample space and the beds are quite possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in! They are more comfy than my own at home. The layout is very accommodating, the decor isn't screaming mountain house like some tend to do, and the wrap around porch is perfect. I've had friends see the pictures and asked for the link. Working with Thomas was a pleasure. He was quick to respond, gave fabulous and honest recommendations. I highly recommend Riley's Retreat and would give more than 5 stars if it was possible.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. Spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with every essential. The warm wood interior, large windows, and stunning views create a peaceful, inviting atmosphere. Comfortable bedding and a fully equipped kitchen made the stay effortless. Mornings on the deck with coffee were unforgettable. The view is simply amazing. The host was responsive, friendly, and clearly cares about every detail. A true gem for anyone seeking comfort, nature, and relaxation. Already looking forward to a return visit.

This is the cleanest property we’ve stayed at in the Valley. We appreciated that the host doesn’t allow pets or smoking. Everything is new, and very comfortable. We had a couple of concerns during our stay, and Thomas responded promptly. The outdoor porch has very comfortable furniture, and we enjoyed the hot tub. My kids loved the beds in the secondary rooms! We travel to Maggie Valley to visit my in laws, and we always book our own cabin for while we are there. This is going to be on the top of my list!

Absolutely beautiful. You will need to supply any oil, spices for example salt/ pepper as well as tin foil and ziplock bags/containers for leftovers if cooking. Otherwise, I have nothing negative to say. Again, absolutely beautiful and very clean! I definitely look forward to another visit!

This place is gorgeous and pretty new. One thing we asked about was bringing our motorcycles to this location as we were trailering and needed to make sure accessible. The road is paved but pretty steep incline and driveway cuts back at an angle. We had to rent a place to put our bikes as no way climbing that hill in any weather on a motorcycle. If you’re not motorcycling and looking for a great place to stay, hot tub, amenities, quiet- this is a great place. We loved our time here and now that we know will prepare and come back soon. Thank you for being a great host.

We had a great stay. The home was just what we wanted for our family. It was very modern and clean. All of the amenities were great. We would love to come back and stay again.

Thomas was a great host. He let me know everything I needed to right from the start. The cabin was absolutely incredible. Me and my wife couldn’t have chosen a better place for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back in the future for more vacations there.

Loved this cabin! It was exactly as described. It was close to the main road, yet you felt like you were away from it all. It was a peaceful and relaxing stay. Don’t let the driveway comments scare you off….the roads to the cabin weren’t bad at all and the driveway was easy once you got the hang of it. We learned that if you went past it and backed into it, it worked out best. Don’t pass this cabin by. It is everything you need and more for your Maggie Valley stay! 😀

Beautiful and clean home. We had 2 full size trucks with trailers and didn’t have issues getting in/out. Very peaceful and relaxing while so close to the town. We would definitely visit again in the future.

This property is perfectly appointed and very clean! It has lovely decor without being excessive and overwhelming. The indoor furniture and beds are very comfortable, as well as the outdoor furniture. The main king suite is large and inviting, and the two other bedrooms are perfectly sized and perfectly placed. The large kitchen and island is a great space to be able to unpack drinks/snacks/etc. for your stay without it feeling cluttered. The hot tub was clean, well maintained and comfortably sized. The views from the porch are open and beautiful! All of the details and amenities are very well put together and cohesive. It's located far enough from the main road in Maggie Valley to be quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to get to everything within a few minutes. Our check in process was super easy, but we really appreciated the simple check out instructions. It was a great stay!

Awesome quiet place to stay! We love sitting outside watching the sunset in the hot tub. Always so clean and comfy. Will for sure be back!!

The home was beautiful!

Riley's Retreat was the perfect place for our girl's trip! We found ourselves never wanting to leave! The hot tub underneath the covered porch while it snowed was truly magical! The beds were SO COMFY and the cabin was incredibly clean upon arrival. After a trial and error when we first got there, I would definitely recommend backing up into the driveway - way easier! I appreciated all the communication from Eve and Thomas while we were here and especially during the beginning of the winter storm that started as our trip came to an end. They even provided a bucket of salt for us. We are so pleased with out stay here and truly hope we get the opportunity to come back!

We loved Riley’s Retreat for our family of 5! The layout was great, you always feel together because the kitchen and living room are nice and open. The deck was beautiful and comfortable with a lovely hot tub. The host provided instructions for hot tub, which were helpful. House was decorated for Christmas in the grinch theme, which my little ones loved! The hosts offer lots of add ons, one being a visit from Santa and that was so awesome for our kids. The location is convenient to grocery stores and things to do- definitely check out Tube World if traveling with little ones, that was the hit of their trip! Thanks to the responsive and helpful hosts!

Second time coming up to stay a few days and enjoy some peace and quiet and that’s exactly what this place is. Amazing view with a hot tub and very cozy and decorated inside! I love all of the Christmas stuff around the cabin.

What a peaceful, magical, luxury cabin stay that included everything you could imagine as well as absolutely immaculate. It is decorated gorgeous, very cozy and a quiet, private property for an escape from the city. We hiked the Great Smokey’s, ventured to Cataloochie Mountain to view Elk and were lucky to see more than you can count that day! An amazing area to explore, see wildlife and enjoy great local spots to grab a bite. The best part was taking restful breaks in cabin luxury each evening! Thank you for an amazing anniversary celebration and vacation!! We may visit again sometime!!!

We had an amazing time at Eve’s cabin. She is very organized and clean. As soon as you walk in, you get a wonderful aroma of wood😍. There is a binder that answers all of your questions, recommendations of restaurants from breakfast - dinner. Places to visit and enjoy time with the family. The only downside we had was getting into the driveway. Since it’s rocks, our car would get stuck at times (we’re Floridians lol). But if you have 4 wheel drive, you’ll be just fine. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!

Best cabin we’ve stayed in while being in Maggie valley! The view is just incredible, it’s quiet, the running river sounds while being in the hot tub, the beds are comfy, plenty of pillow options, soft blankets, tv’s , the most comfortable couches , everything about the cabin was just amazing! 10/10 recommend and 100% will be back to stay again! Also the welcome book she has made answers any questions about the house and area as far as food , things to do, it was really great to see all the thought that went into making it. 🖤

Super cozy, seems almost new and really quiet at night. Night hot tub was the best. We had a full moon too. Perfect weather!
