Cute spot that matched the description!

This place was conveniently close to Wilmington & Wrightsville beach. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked, and was nice that dogs were allowed. It was fine for what we needed it for- but the house had obvious DIY work done: the handle on the dishwasher is hanging on by a thread, a ceiling vent was on the floor upon arrival, and the washing machine kept randomly pooling with water. None of the issues were enough to communicate during our stay, as we didn’t want to deal with maintenance personnel, but still noteworthy. The yard is fenced which was nice for our dogs, it would be nice to have a higher and/or wooden fence as the neighbors were strange (on Christmas Eve 5 sheriffs were outside the neighbor’s house for an hour). Similarly, it would be nice to have additional kitchen towels & blankets, we had a spare bed so we stole a comforter to snuggle up with. Host was very communicative!

This was a great place to stay with a big back yard and plenty of space in the home.

The house was perfect for our stay. We were in for a wedding in Wilmington. The house was about 15 min to downtown and beach. There was plenty to do in the area. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Great place, near everything!

This was an amazing stay. My sister, Our emotional support dog and I stayed for a weekend and would stay again. It was a beautiful home, clean, and easy to find. There was also a good selection of good food in the area! Luke was very responsive and friendly during this entire process.

Great, pet-friendly place to stay that's near everything Wilmington has to offer. We could get anywhere within 20min. Place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Bring your own beach towels, chairs and toys.

Luke was a great host. He made me and my family feel welcomed in his home. The house was so cozy. All appliances in the house worked great. If I am ever in Wilmington, NC again I will definitely try to book this house again.

Our group of 7 adults were very comfortable in this spacious house. Everything was super clean. The kitchen was well appointed to make meals easy. Beds all had memory foam and were super comfy. Couches were a bit uncomfortable with a metal bar in the middle. Overall a great value near the beach for parties of 7-8 with a pup! Would stay again!

Luke's place was wonderful. It provided all of the comforts of home while away. It was very peaceful and quiet, but close enough to all of the different things that Wilmington and Carolina Beach have to offer to do. I would definitely recommend staying at Luke's place while visiting Wilmington.

We’ve stayed at many Airbnb properties. This is definitely a favorite. Home was Very very clean. Host made sure we were happy with stay and very prompt in communication.

We really loved the amount of space this Airbnb offered. The beds, pillows & comforters were SO comfortable. Honestly the best sleep our family of 7 has had in a while. The couches could use some updating as they were very uncomfortable so it did make it a little difficult to enjoy family movie nights & we noticed that the master shower drain was really slow/the half bath sink was really slow. The host was very good with providing all needed details.

Lukes place was very clean and perfect for our family! He responded right away with anything we needed! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The house is as described in the photos. Our needs were met. Luke was proactive in communication throughout the entire stay. The check-in/check-out process was seamless. The location is 15 minutes from Wrightsville, with ample restaurants and activities to choose from. If you are bringing children, there will be sufficient room for them to play and lounge. We enjoyed our stay!

My group of 8 adults fit comfortably in the space! The location seemed very nice and quiet, and just a 15 minute drive from downtown and our favorite beach.

Luke was a great host, very responsive, and check-in and out was easy. The inside of the house is nice, plenty of room and well appointed. Plus the fact that it allows dogs is exactly what we needed!! Could be better: the backyard was not quite the hang out we were hoping for. A little clean up of the landscaping and a more private fence in the backyard would add a lot the space. Overall, pleased with the stay and it allowed my family a last minute vacation to Wilmington area with relatively easy access to the beach (~15 min drive) and we could bring our dog! A total win and we are grateful for the experience!

We’ve crisscrossed the continent the last few years staying in a wide variety of places. Luke’s place was one of the best. We enjoyed the privacy as well as the great house. Accurately advertised, the spacious rooms were great, the house had everything. It was conveniently located for our day trips to Wilmington, the beach, disk golf, and eating out as well as shopping. We stayed for a quick girls trip- the house was perfect - 4 bedrooms with 2 1/2 spa like bathrooms. Resort style beds/bedding/linens. Even had me googling the pillows and buying them for home. We loved our stay and hope to return to the area - and would love to stay with Luke again.

Luke was a very accommodating and responsive host! It was a great place to stay with kiddos as everything is located on one floor and they enjoyed running back and forth. There is a huge yard too, which is a bonus with little kids too.

Check in process was super easy. The layout of the house was great. The rooms are large and the bathrooms were perfect. There were some hiccups but Luke was on them to make everything ok. Great customer service. He strived to make our stay the best. I would have loved to have some electricity in the building where the table tennis was located. First I would like to say thank you to the owner, he was happy to help and sounded very genuine when talking. He was very flexible letting me check in an hour earlier due to my unexpected early arrival. When I first walked in I immediately noticed how clean the house was and how accurate the descriptions and pictures of the property were. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend for anybody.

First the pros: The location makes getting to either Wrightsville or Carolina Beach easy. The property manager, who handles things, was very responsive. The mattresses were fairly comfortable. The showers were upgraded. Now for the cons: The pics makes it all look nicer than it is. The grass has not been mowed for several weeks. Has a gravel driveway, so we unpacked in gravel and wet unmowed grass. The floors were filthy-- I sent a pic of my dirt filled feet to the manager (she then sent the cleaning lady). The curtains don't cover the windows, the air vents are noisy (makes it hard to sleep), the doorbell fell off, and the bedrooms have no furniture other than small metal nightstands. No dressers, no tables. The couches have stains. The kitchen is not stocked well and we could not cook with their pans as they were very old and beat up also. The place is bare bones and. I usually love air bnb's. Unfortunately, this was not great for the money spent.

This home is beautiful and spacious for a big family or group of families. We loved spending the mornings at the table drinking coffee and cooking breakfast together. Everything we could think of was there for us to use which is nice when you don’t want to pack the whole house to be comfortable on vacation. We loved the ability to drive to the beach without being deep in the hustle and bustle. Shopping was just around the corner and even on the rainy days we were able to stay at the house and challenge each other to ping pong matches in the covered area our back! Would definitely stay here again.

Luke’s place was very cozy and welcoming. Very clean home. Kitchen was very well equipped. Bathrooms were clean and the showers were awesome. Beds were comfortable. Remote ceiling fans, so you don’t have to get out of bed to change the setting. Luke always responded quickly to any of my messages. Convenient store within walking distance. A 20 minute drive to Fort Fisher and Johnnie Mercer Pier, as well as River Road…. all the fishing spots. Close to Wilmington Park so your children can run out energy. We aren’t TV watchers, so it didn’t bother us. If you are a TV watcher only one TV. Great fire pit outside, to enjoy s’mores. Table Tennis to enjoy. Fresh towels, 2 sets per room. Very spacious. We had 6 adults, 2 children, and a dog. There was plenty of space.

This house is exactly as described! Very nice clean house in a good quiet neighborhood. Luke was an excellent host, he answered any of my questions within minutes! We were Very impressed with how well stocked the house was from kitchen utensils to fresh ground coffee, to lots of plush towels! We were five people staying in this house, and we all were very comfortable. It’s a great location, an easy drive to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband, dog, and I stayed at this airbnb when we were attending a wedding in Wilmington. We chose the house mainly for the backyard for our large dog, but we also wanted a neighborhood feel. Luke was VERY responsive and answered my questions about proximity to the wedding venue, if the backyard was 100% fenced in (it is), etc. It was great to work with a host who responded almost immediately, making everything so much easier and seamless. The house was great and very clean! Large washer and dryer which was a plus since we stayed for 6 nights. The house was about 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, and about 15 minutes from Wrightsville. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and peaceful which was great. We highly recommend this airbnb if you’re looking to stay in the area, and especially if you have an active dog like us who loves the play fetch and run around.

House was was clean and maintained, nice linens. Beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of utensils and such for use in the kitchen. The only thing we ran into was a pile of broken glass in the yard. I contacted Luke and he responded quickly to get it taken care of. Would definitely rent from Luke again.

Great place!! Hard to find places to stay that have 4 bedrooms and has a queen/king in every room, instead of bunk beds and twin size beds! Quiet neighborhood also!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The house appears to have been recently remodeled and was very, very clean. Everyone remarked about how comfortable the beds were. I did not need any assistance from Luke and his team during our stay but he was very responsive and made check-in super simple. We'd stay here again.

Luke's place was 10/10. the place was even better then the pictures. impeccably clean. one of the cleanest I have stayed. also one of the best about paying attention to detail and making sure house was stocked above and beyond the normal air bnb. even as far as supplying tampons under the sink. I could go on but I think u get the point. just book it!! oh and the fire pit and ping pong table in the garage just topped it off perfectly! thanks again luke!

Awesome stay! Went in the off season for something not too far from the beach but also the aquarium. Lots of drive-able things for us to do with the kids. Super responsive and easy to work with host. House was awesome. Plenty of amenities and updates. Love that it was pet friendly. We traveled in a group of two families, 3 kids, and two dogs. Plenty of room to play and the yard is great. Our traveling family said they’d absolutely come again and we totally agree.

We had a lovely Christmas here! The house was nice and roomy, and the dogs were thrilled to run around in the fenced-in back yard. The only thing missing was a microwave, but that by no means affected our trip. Thanks, Luke!

Great place! Good location

Luke was always very kind and responsive. His home looked newly renovated inside with rainfall shower heads and beautiful tile work in the bathrooms. It was very clean, had plush towels, really comfortable beds, and a large variety of coffee. We loved how close it was to everything in the area, restaurants, gas stations, UNCW, and the water. The road the home is on is great if you like to jog or walk, as it is flat and adjoins to several safe neighborhoods.

Our stay at Luke's property was absolutely amazing. The communication was very quick. Any little complication we came across he and his wife were very attentive and compromising. They went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with the way our stay turned out. The customer service was certainly five stars. The home was very clean and homey. I would certainly recommend any of their homes. It is very hard to find genuine caring people and this couple is just that. 5 stars all around the board.
