Easy Downtown Living: Modern 1BR Haven in ILM

Came for a concert and stayed the weekend to go to the beach! The location is just a few blocks from downtown and the riverwalk with great restaurants nearby. Not a far drive from the beach but beach traffic did make the drive a bit longer (that was expected though) Jesse was very responsive and helpful during check in and check out! Definitely a nice place to stay!

Always a great place

The place is a new third floor walkup aside the historic Downtown Wilmington. I thought it was a great value for the money. The place had what I needed. It is about a 15 minute walk to restaurants and bars that are downtown and an easy drive to Wrightsville beach or other local spots. Jesse responded immediately to any message.

Perfect Airbnb for single person or a couple right in the downtown area. Extremely clean and neat yet cozy, I was very comfortable and felt very safe during my stay!! Jessi is super responsive and a great host.

Enjoyed my stay here everything was as described, only thing I did not like was the host not being a bit flexible during checkout time especially for the price payed and the parking situation but other then that everything was fine, nice area lots to do around everything is fairly close. Had issues with the tv volume it did not work but was compensated $50 for inconvenience. Also there were pest in the place I had to kill one on my last night. The place did not have an elevator and had to walk to third floor was hard for me since I have bad knees. Finally had issue with parking sticker which was not available upon arrival. But in the end even though I got the sticker I mostly parked in the street since the parking lot was small and mostly full on most days of my stay.

Nice place. Very clean. Quiet place to stay

Jesse’s home was exactly what was portrayed in the photos. The parking situation wasn’t ideal with very limited spots but Jesse does state that in his listing. The bed was average, not too hard and not too soft. I utilized and appreciated the fans throughout the apartment. I loved the layout as well, it was very open and provided a large closet that fit all of my suitcases without issue. Jesse was an amazing host, he was very responsive and quick to fix any issues that arose!

Jesse and his place were awesome. He's a great host. Very responsive and proactive. There was a slight issue with the front door lock upon arrival, but when I went into my messages to message him he had already contacted me with a solution, so all was good! His place is nice, clean, matched the photos. Was in town for work and would have chosen to stay longer if it wasn't already booked. Great location too. Minutes drive to downtown and grocery stores and such. I'd definitely stay again!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this place! The host was very responsive to all our needs and was generous with recommendations when asked. This place was very close to downtown and 25 min driving distance from Carolina Beach. The only downside for us was the size and comfortability of the bed. Subjectively it felt like it was a little smaller than a queen size and it sagged in the middle, causing us to roll towards each other. It's important to note that we are both highly sensitive individuals, and people with average sensitivity are likely to experience no issues. Additionally, this bed will probably be comfortable for one person.

All was great. Please know that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. This would be the only downfall for some and a plus for others. Free exercise!

Jesse was great from beginning to end. Everything that was listed was just as it was in person. Check in and check out was super easy and the location is great! It’s about a 5 minute drive to the historic downtown area and the neighborhoods around it were nice to take a stroll through. Jesse is a fantastic host and we would definitely recommend staying at one of his properties.

This is really nice place! New building, quiet, comfortable. AC working well, good TV. although there are couple things you should know, but it have nothing to do with host or apartment, more with building. - 3rd floor, only stairs. we had really heavy bags, so that part was complicated - there can be an issue to park at night in weekends - the washing and drying machine really loud, there is nothing anyone can do about since it's definitely was installed by the building For everything else place is great!

Jesse was very nice and communicative. A few inconveniences made my stay less desirable than I had hoped: 1. Listing says coffee is available. Coffee pot and coffee but no filters! 2. Door lock didn’t work so he left a key under the mat - that’s a safety concern 3. Expected to wash linens but there was no detergent 4. Parking lot was full when I got home after dinner even though the listing says you’ll have one parking spot. Had to park on the street and pay 6. Opened the dishwasher and it smelled awful!!!!

Jesse’s place is a nice central Airbnb. The place was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s close to downtown (5 min drive or 15 min walk), 20 min drive to Wrightsville Beach and within 15-20 min to other locations. The biggest downside is, although there is a parking pass, at no point during the weekend could we park in the adjacent lot. There is street parking and we were able to find close spots but there is not guaranteed parking in the lot.

Just a great clean quiet comfortable space . Easy walk to Castle Street district or Riverwalk . Love the place . Highly recommend .

Very clean apartment with close distance to downtown Wilmington. Everything worked perfect and Jesse was extremely responsive the entire stay!

I very much enjoyed the visit. There was plenty to walk to as well as a short drive to anything I was interested in. The apartment itself was nice a quiet and the neighbors I ran into were polite as well. Great stay!
