We loved staying at this beautiful beach house. It was conveniently located and we enjoyed the beach access and proximity to the boardwalk. Would highly recommend for your next beach trip!

Overall it was a pleasant stay. I will say, the whole place needs a deep clean. There was visible build up around trashcan areas and bathrooms had mold in areas. There was also a $250 parking pass fee but there was no pass located in the place. I would also bring extra towels as there was not that many for being located on a beach.

Can’t beat the location on the quieter side of Carolina Beach. Close to some great shops and restaurants. Place has been partially updated but could really use a thorough cleaning.

Perfect location! Having my 16 year old son and his friend on the trip made it very important to be close to the boardwalk. I absolutely love that I didn’t have to bring my favorite beach chair! The beach chairs provided to guests are exactly like mine! The oreck vacuum was the cherry on top! I hate feeling even a tiny piece of sand on the floors! Loved the cookware, although a cookie sheet and a pizza pan would be perfect to add in the kitchen. My 16 year old son and I played a little trivial pursuit (boomer edition). We laughed because I’m 45 and he’s 16, but we knew quite a few of the answers! Especially The Beatles questions ☺️ We love board games so not having to bring any this year was a plus! The hosts were especially sweet and understanding when I had a mishap with a lamp 😬 I believe in being prompt if I cause something to break or malfunction. They were so understanding and appreciated my communication. Can’t wait to stay again!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here and will be back! The space was clean, easy to access, and in a walkable location. Having access to the beach and beach gear was a huge plus for us. And in addressing a minor issue with the functionality of the garage, the hosts were responsive and action oriented.

The home was clean upon arrival, which we appreciated, and the location was convenient. However, there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable than we expected. One of the biggest surprises was the number of stairs throughout the property. This wasn’t as apparent in the listing and could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns, and heavy luggage. We were also disappointed that there were no TVs in the guest bedrooms and no balcony, patio, or outdoor seating area where we could relax. Several amenities were either not working or in need of updating. The shower in one of the bedrooms would not turn on, one of the beach wagons was broken, and the beach umbrella did not work. As a result, we had to rent our own beach chairs and umbrella. The beach chairs provided were very low to the ground and could benefit from being replaced with newer, more comfortable options. Overall, the home was clean, but it could benefit from updates and better maintenance of its amenities.

Very good communication. Fast response. No balcony or a place to sit outside. All the others had balconies. That was an issue. Beach, chairs full of sand. One umbrella had no pole. Needed beach chairs that are NOT SO LOW to the ground!. Should tell customers there is an outside shower and there is a hose in the garage to was off. One buggy rusty not usable. The other was usable but all covered in sand. We put the garbage pail to the curb for pickup. It had a lot of garbage in it. Not from us. Overall on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 8.

Amazing location! Only steps from the public access point and a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk and other restaurants. This was exactly what I needed. Safe, clean, and close to the beach. Being able to park in the garage was a huge plus too!

Our stay was stress-free and we were actually able to relax. The trip was an anniversary trip and we had so much fun. Favorites included the garden tub 😜 and the huge king size bed that we was so inviting and comfy! We will definitely be back.

absolutely great location, overall loved the place and perfect to celebrate a peaceful birthday weekend with our kids. worth the price. parking was tricky for more than 1 car (mentioned in the listing). this really was a great little beach spot to get access to the sand and sea while having somewhere comfortable to return to!

My reduced score on the review has to do with the cleanness of the property. Due to our short stay there was not time for the owner to resolve these items on time. I understood from the messages action has been taken to resolve our issues. Since their response was very quick with the issues on the lock system I trust that the cleanness will be taken care of better in the future.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! It was perfect for a quick trip: comfortable, convenient, and exactly as advertised. We especially loved that it had everything ready for the beach, plus a covered parking spot. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something peaceful and enjoyable. The host is kind, and when I had a small issue, they took care of it the very next day.

Stay was great was right across the beach, not far walk/drive from Britt’s donuts and plenty of other cute attractions at Carolina beach. House is very clean and has most of what you need on a trip. Only complaint is the parking situation because the house can sleep multiple people, but you barely have enough room for 2 cars to park & you def shouldn’t bring 3 cars unless you are wanting to pay for parking. If you do bring multiple cars you will have to find paid parking to leave your car which is 1. far away. & 2. expensive because you have to pay per day and is extremely inconvenient. I was not made aware of that before coming. Overall house is great besides that I still give it 5 stars.

The condo was well located, and if it had been cleaned properly and the plumbing working the way, it should have this would’ve been a very nice place to stay other than the issues that happened. 1 cannot believe that the shower diverter was not reported by the people that were in the place before us and that there was not even a place to plug up to take a bath much less that the shower didn’t work.

Excellent stay! The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed. It is in a great location, close to everything in Wilmington, and most importantly, just a short walk to the ocean! Eyob is an excellent host, very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The place is in a great location, but the place isn’t great. Other people had commented on blood stained pillows and hair in the tub. We had that same issue and more. The garage had a horrible smell when we first got there which later turned out to be something rotting with maggots in the rolling cart with the beach chairs. Bath towels in the bathroom were stained and dirty. I washed all sheets/towels to ensure where we were sleeping and staying was sanitary. The kitchen pans and utensils had other people‘s food on them. The host was responsive with my concerns and reimbursed $150 in cleaning fees. I spent a lot of the time washing towels/sheets, just feeling icky. When we went to throw our trash out from our stay, the can was completely full of other people’s trash and smelled disgusting. The house needs some upkeep like exhaust fans that don’t work, flashing lights in the hallway, and the toilet paper dispenser coming off the wall. The location/ease of walking places was good.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was great for us. We traveled with a baby and it was comfortable for that as well (the parents enjoyed that for the baby). I appreciated the kindness of the host as well. Also great job on the kitchen choices - inspire me for a bit of a refresh :). Super close to the beach and boardwalk and safe for morning runs too!

Place was clean and had everything you needed to enjoy your time at the beach. The beach was closer than it looked in pictures with very little crowd. Overall a great location with plenty to do in the area.

Eyob's place exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, ideally situated, and was even better than advertised. While the beachfront location is undeniably fantastic, we were particularly impressed by Eyob's excellent communication throughout the rental process. We wholeheartedly recommend this property, and hope to stay here again in the future.

We were very happy with our choice of Eyob's place. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. At first glance, one might cite the location--right across the road from the beach--as the best feature of this property, but I would offer that the prompt, friendly, and informative communications with the host would rival the property's location. We highly recommend this property, not only because it's The Room with a View, but because Eyob is a gracious and responsive host.
