We had a wonderful family stay at Miriam’s beach house! The home is beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly cozy — we felt comfortable the moment we arrived. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook for a family, and having linens and plenty of towels provided made the stay even easier. One of our favorite features was the private walkway to the beach — so convenient, especially with kids. The ocean views from the house are peaceful, and we loved spending mornings and evenings on the porch enjoying the breeze, sunrises, and sunsets. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect as a family. The house is thoughtfully equipped, including beach chairs and essentials, which saved us from having to bring extra gear. The layout worked great for our family, giving everyone space while still feeling connected. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend Miriam’s place and would love to return in the future.

The house was stunning! Perfect sunrise and sunset viewing from the dining room table and balcony. Gorgeous interior design and comfy living room furniture. The kitchen is so open and stocked with everything you need for cooking family meals. Such a great stay!

We had a great stay at Miriam's home in Holden Beach! The home is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We felt at home as soon as we checked in. The kitchen is very well stocked - plenty of cooking equipment/utensils, helpful appliances, and more than enough tableware for a group. Having a private walkway to the beach was very convenient. The view of the ocean from the house was serene, and we enjoyed sunsets and sunrises on the porch. The only constructive feedback I would give is that the bed frame on the double bed downstairs (in the jack and jill bedroom) is so large that it blocked the bedroom door from closing. This wasn't ideal for the room where our toddler was sleeping, but we made it work. That aside, I would recommend staying at this property at any time of year! It was wonderful for our off-season weekend trip.

Great week with family. Location near the bridge was nice and not crowded this time of year. The kitchen is wonderful and fully stocked. Two great deck for sunrises and sunsets.

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. it had everything we needed to get started. There were five of us and we all can't wait to come back and stay again.

We really enjoyed Holden Beach, it was very peaceful in November. Miriam’s well kept home worked out great for 10 of us. It’s decorated in a tasteful, clutter free way. Makes you happy to walk into the home! 😁 It was lovely that the appliances were in good order, I made a lot of use of the “ quick wash” cycle of the washer while packing to leave, since it cleaned really well. The beach was great even though it is cooler this time of year. Loved the spigot on the boardwalk, and the outdoor shower. That helped with not tracking sand inside with such a large family. The luxury backpack beach chairs and sand toys were a bonus for us, since space was limited in our vehicle while traveling. Our family started looking for shark’s teeth after a couple days. We found something like 19. We had been hunting sand dollars, and trying to find the best of the plentiful “ sea biscuits “ if I have that name right . Thanks for hosting us, Miriam.

We had a great trip and got lucky with amazing weather for November! Enjoyed walking the beach and finding shark teeth and shells and sitting on the balcony listening to the waves in the evening.

Way more than you expect from a short term rental. The most surprising part was the amount of toiletries, soaps, etc.

We had a great stay at Blue Horizon and really appreciated the host’s responsiveness and communication throughout. Miriam was quick to reply (always within minutes) and handled each situation with kindness and professionalism. There were a few issues with the property when we arrived, including a broken shade tent, a refrigerator that wasn’t cooling properly, a chair on the balcony that was damaged, and a kitchen faucet piece that had broken off. Miriam was very understanding, thanked us for letting her know, and worked on solutions with her maintenance team while also respecting our preference not to be disturbed during the stay. Despite these maintenance hiccups, we were still able to enjoy our trip, and Miriam’s attentiveness gave us peace of mind that everything would be taken care of after our departure. Overall, the location was beautiful, the host was wonderful, and with a few repairs this property will be even better for future guests.

My family and I had a great stay at Miriam’s! The location was perfect, you can’t beat beachfront. The house was as described, clean and well stocked with linens, kitchen equipment, etc... Miriam was a great host and super responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location and view from 1st and 2nd floor balconies. Beautiful and comfortable kitchen with plenty of seating. Nice, clean bathrooms/showers had great water pressure. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

Loved our stay! House was well equipped, full kitchen and all the things you could need. Linens provided and the amount of towels made it nice not to have to wash daily. Loved having the beach chairs at the house and not having to travel with them. Overall the house was perfect! House was beautiful! The property was very clean. The pictures on the listing shows exactly what the house looks like. The house is well appointed. At the time of our stay, there were wonderful beach amenities (chairs, tent, inflatable raft, boogie board, beach games) provided in the outdoor closet. The host communicates very well and promptly. We had a wonderful stay! We love Holden Beach and have stayed in many houses there. This is one of the great ones!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Miriam’s property. It’s beauty, decor, beach access, amenities…we wanted for absolutely nothing. Not only do we recommend this lovely gem but will be making our own reservation for next year soon. Simply the best experience

One of the best experiences we've had with a rental in the Holden Beach/Oak Island area. Everything we needed in the house was provided, also beach chairs, sun tent, wake board and rafts were also provided (not having to pack our vehicle with all of that was wonderful). The house was as pictured, the standouts were the beautiful kitchen and large bathrooms. The house is walkable (1-2 blocks) to three restaurants, coffee shop, candy store and slushy/ice cream store. Great overall experience with this rental.

The photos are spot on. The house is beautiful and clean. We loved the view from the balcony of the ocean. It was a nice touch providing beach chairs and while we didn’t use it, a canopy. We could consider staying again on our next trip to the beach. The only downside was parking under the house. It was a little tricky to maneuver due to the width of the driveway. Fortunately we only had 3 vehicles, so we just parked in the driveway. Overall we had a glorious time and enjoyed a much needed respite. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Three generations of us stayed at Miriam's on the beach. Great kitchen for family meals, wonderful living room as part of the kitchen space so we could all be together for everything. The big room had a door out onto the porch, with chairs and a table. Perfect for early morning tea and quiet. We loved it.

We had such a fantastic stay at Miriam's oceanfront beach house in Holden. The house was beautiful, clean and had lots of amenities. Everything was as pictured and accurately described in the listing. Miriam's house far exceeded our expectations! Miriam is very proactive as a host. Super responsive with excellent communication. I'm so glad we booked our stay with Miriam and would definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house for our book club beach getaway. It was a perfect place to spread out and enjoy the views. We just wish there were more seating outside.

This wonderful home is even better than what the photos show. Top quality furnishings and decor. Lots of windows and light in the main living area with a spectacular view of the beach. The ocean is right in front of with a private path. Less than 3 minutes from porch to sea. Highly recommended!!

This home is wonderful! We've been coming to Holden Beach for decades and this is by far our favorite stay. To begin, the house is gorgeous, beautifully styled, and clean. My husband and I stayed with our two children, but it has plenty of space for multiple families. The location couldn't be any better-it's right off the bridge when you get into Holden, across the street from the local restaurant, marina, coffee shop, etc. The walk right to the beach is so close and again, gorgeous. I was surprised to find lots of unexpected amenities- little things like spices for cooking, sandwich bags, laundry detergent, tvs in every bedroom, hair dryer, beach chairs, and the list goes on. This home was setup perfectly for our quick weekend getaway! Don't second guess it-rent this house!
