Definitely one of the best beach houses we’ve ever rented!

We really enjoyed our stay at Miriam’s. The kitchen was stocked with everything and more! It was also nice having the extras included like the beach chairs, games, and equipment that usually take up extra space during travel. The home was beautifully decorated and views fantastic. The short walk onto the beach from the porch and closeness (a quick walk) to the coffee shop/splash pad were a plus for this family with small kids! We plan to be back for our future visits!

Our family had a wonderful time at this home. It was well-appointed and fully stocked. The amenities were nice and perfect for our beach stay. Miriam was especially attentive and communicative, which we appreciated. Looking forward to coming back soon!

My family and I had a wonderful time! Having coffee on one of the two balconies was the highlight of our trip. It was so easy to get back-and-forth from the beach to the beach house. Everything was so clean and beautiful. We would love to come back here anytime!

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was disappointing enough that we chose to leave early and relocate our family. Upon arrival, we encountered numerous issues, including cleanliness concerns, overflowing trash, broken and poorly maintained items throughout the home, and unsafe outdoor furniture that appeared to have been repaired multiple times and ultimately failed, resulting in injuries to members of our group. While the host did respond to our concerns, the responses largely consisted of explanations and excuses rather than meaningful solutions. We understand that issues can arise in any rental property, but what matters is how they are addressed. Unfortunately, we did not feel that adequate action was taken to resolve the problems or ensure a safe and comfortable stay. The one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience was Kathryn. She went above and beyond to assist us, was incredibly hardworking, responsive, and genuinely cared about helping however she cou

We had a great stay and especially loved being right on the beach. The double porches were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. We loved using the outdoor shower. The house appears to have been recently renovated, with nice appliances and quality finishes throughout. For those planning a group stay, the layout is worth noting. One bedroom is upstairs next to the kitchen and living area and has an attached bathroom. The other three bedrooms are downstairs. Two of those bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, while a third full bathroom is located off the hallway. We had four couples and two babies and fit comfortably overall. One downstairs bedroom was a bit tight, with both a queen bed and a twin bed, which made it difficult to close the door to the hallway. One thing to keep in mind for longer stays: you will need to bring extra household supplies such as trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would happily stay again.

Nice unit and great beach access. However, unit was not clean upon arrival. My wife took care of most of it. It was very disappointing as prior reviews raved about the cleanliness of the unit. That is something that rates high on our list of priorities for unit rentals. Owners were apologetic, but it's something that really cannot be undone and the thought of 'what else wasn't cleaned' stuck with us on our stay. A vacation is meant to leave all worries behind and enjoy the time, not having to complete a job that should have been done by the housekeeping.

We thoroughly enjoyed Miriam's beautiful beach house! It was the perfect space for our family and we loved the easy access to the beach front. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had what we needed, and the beds were fully made when we arrived! The view is amazing as well! Miriam was also very attentive to our needs and replied very quickly when we had questions. I will definitely return!

Loved the home, but a helpful tip is: back into the parking it saves a lot of time due to the parking space! If you need anything they communicate quickly! 5 stars!

The house was just and described on the listing. Very Clean when we arrived. Once we were settled in, everything in and about the house was easily accessible and virtually anything you needed was provided. What was truly enjoyable in our stay was the outside spaces. The 2 decks that faced the ocean were utilized quit often and the views out in the ocean and up and down the shore were beautiful. Morning coffee and evening relaxing were always spent out on of the decks. If you are like us and enjoy walking up and down the ocean front, this place is a must. Just steps from the ocean. No need for packing up the car, driving down the road and looking for a public access. This house comes highly recommended if you are truly beach lovers. Mark and Kathy Miller

Such an incredibly lovely stay! The house was absolutely gorgeous—from morning coffee looking out over the beach on the deck, to the incredible kitchen (pristine, double oven!, giant island), to the comfy and airy living room space for hanging out together, everything was perfect. Not to mention of course that it was right on the beach—being able to just walk right out the back deck and go enjoy the waves and the sun was fantastic (and the house is equipped with beach chairs and everything you need, so it was all super easy!). Our host Miriam was great—super responsive and helpful if we had any questions. Overall one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in—we’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Miriam's beautiful home. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking if desired. Was nice to have the basics provided to get us started. And of course the best part was the view and direct ocean access.

My family and I stayed here for a relaxing beach vacation. We had a wonderful time, and Miriam’s place was the perfect spot to call home for the week. Plenty of room for 9 of us to comfortably hang out together, a well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, and an abundance of beach and bath towels for our stay! The house has a beautiful view from the porches and a convenient private walkway to the beach. We would absolutely recommend a stay at Miriam’s beach house!

One of our favorite features was the private walkway to the beach — so convenient, especially with kids. The ocean views from the house are peaceful, and we loved spending mornings and evenings on the porch enjoying the breeze, sunrises, and sunsets. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect as a family. The house is thoughtfully equipped, including beach chairs and essentials, which saved us from having to bring extra gear. The layout worked great for our family, giving everyone space while still feeling connected. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend Miriam’s place and would love to return in the future.

The house was stunning! Perfect sunrise and sunset viewing from the dining room table and balcony. Gorgeous interior design and comfy living room furniture. The kitchen is so open and stocked with everything you need for cooking family meals. Such a great stay!

We had a great stay at Miriam's home in Holden Beach! The home is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We felt at home as soon as we checked in. The kitchen is very well stocked - plenty of cooking equipment/utensils, helpful appliances, and more than enough tableware for a group. Having a private walkway to the beach was very convenient. The view of the ocean from the house was serene, and we enjoyed sunsets and sunrises on the porch. The only constructive feedback I would give is that the bed frame on the double bed downstairs (in the jack and jill bedroom) is so large that it blocked the bedroom door from closing. This wasn't ideal for the room where our toddler was sleeping, but we made it work. That aside, I would recommend staying at this property at any time of year! It was wonderful for our off-season weekend trip.

Great week with family. Location near the bridge was nice and not crowded this time of year. The kitchen is wonderful and fully stocked. Two great deck for sunrises and sunsets.

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing. it had everything we needed to get started. There were five of us and we all can't wait to come back and stay again.

We really enjoyed Holden Beach, it was very peaceful in November. Miriam’s well kept home worked out great for 10 of us. It’s decorated in a tasteful, clutter free way. Makes you happy to walk into the home! 😁 It was lovely that the appliances were in good order, I made a lot of use of the “ quick wash” cycle of the washer while packing to leave, since it cleaned really well. The beach was great even though it is cooler this time of year. Loved the spigot on the boardwalk, and the outdoor shower. That helped with not tracking sand inside with such a large family. The luxury backpack beach chairs and sand toys were a bonus for us, since space was limited in our vehicle while traveling. Our family started looking for shark’s teeth after a couple days. We found something like 19. We had been hunting sand dollars, and trying to find the best of the plentiful “ sea biscuits “ if I have that name right . Thanks for hosting us, Miriam.

We had a great trip and got lucky with amazing weather for November! Enjoyed walking the beach and finding shark teeth and shells and sitting on the balcony listening to the waves in the evening.

We had a great stay at Blue Horizon and really appreciated the host’s responsiveness and communication throughout. Miriam was quick to reply (always within minutes) and handled each situation with kindness and professionalism. There were a few issues with the property when we arrived, including a broken shade tent, a refrigerator that wasn’t cooling properly, a chair on the balcony that was damaged, and a kitchen faucet piece that had broken off. Miriam was very understanding, thanked us for letting her know, and worked on solutions with her maintenance team while also respecting our preference not to be disturbed during the stay. Despite these maintenance hiccups, we were still able to enjoy our trip, and Miriam’s attentiveness gave us peace of mind that everything would be taken care of after our departure. Overall, the location was beautiful, the host was wonderful, and with a few repairs this property will be even better for future guests.

Fantastic location and view from 1st and 2nd floor balconies. Beautiful and comfortable kitchen with plenty of seating. Nice, clean bathrooms/showers had great water pressure. We would definitely consider renting this home again.

Loved our stay! House was well equipped, full kitchen and all the things you could need. Linens provided and the amount of towels made it nice not to have to wash daily. Loved having the beach chairs at the house and not having to travel with them. Overall the house was perfect! House was beautiful! The property was very clean. The pictures on the listing shows exactly what the house looks like. The house is well appointed. At the time of our stay, there were wonderful beach amenities (chairs, tent, inflatable raft, boogie board, beach games) provided in the outdoor closet. The host communicates very well and promptly. We had a wonderful stay! We love Holden Beach and have stayed in many houses there. This is one of the great ones!

One of the best experiences we've had with a rental in the Holden Beach/Oak Island area. Everything we needed in the house was provided, also beach chairs, sun tent, wake board and rafts were also provided (not having to pack our vehicle with all of that was wonderful). The house was as pictured, the standouts were the beautiful kitchen and large bathrooms. The house is walkable (1-2 blocks) to three restaurants, coffee shop, candy store and slushy/ice cream store. Great overall experience with this rental.

The photos are spot on. The house is beautiful and clean. We loved the view from the balcony of the ocean. It was a nice touch providing beach chairs and while we didn’t use it, a canopy. We could consider staying again on our next trip to the beach. The only downside was parking under the house. It was a little tricky to maneuver due to the width of the driveway. Fortunately we only had 3 vehicles, so we just parked in the driveway. Overall we had a glorious time and enjoyed a much needed respite. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Three generations of us stayed at Miriam's on the beach. Great kitchen for family meals, wonderful living room as part of the kitchen space so we could all be together for everything. The big room had a door out onto the porch, with chairs and a table. Perfect for early morning tea and quiet. We loved it.

We had such a fantastic stay at Miriam's oceanfront beach house in Holden. The house was beautiful, clean and had lots of amenities. Everything was as pictured and accurately described in the listing. Miriam's house far exceeded our expectations! Miriam is very proactive as a host. Super responsive with excellent communication. I'm so glad we booked our stay with Miriam and would definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house for our book club beach getaway. It was a perfect place to spread out and enjoy the views. We just wish there were more seating outside.

This wonderful home is even better than what the photos show. Top quality furnishings and decor. Lots of windows and light in the main living area with a spectacular view of the beach. The ocean is right in front of with a private path. Less than 3 minutes from porch to sea. Highly recommended!!

This home is wonderful! We've been coming to Holden Beach for decades and this is by far our favorite stay. To begin, the house is gorgeous, beautifully styled, and clean. My husband and I stayed with our two children, but it has plenty of space for multiple families. The location couldn't be any better-it's right off the bridge when you get into Holden, across the street from the local restaurant, marina, coffee shop, etc. The walk right to the beach is so close and again, gorgeous. I was surprised to find lots of unexpected amenities- little things like spices for cooking, sandwich bags, laundry detergent, tvs in every bedroom, hair dryer, beach chairs, and the list goes on. This home was setup perfectly for our quick weekend getaway! Don't second guess it-rent this house!
