The place was clean and huge I love the kitchen most of all and the scenery was amazing. Only thing that I didn’t like was walking up and down the stairs , I couldn’t get the elevator to work 😞but everything else was fine.

Love everything about this house!

My family came from all over (CA, NV, GA and VA) to visit our dad and celebrate his 94th birthday! At that age, it was essential to find the right place, and this was it! We had plenty of room with the nicely appointed bedrooms, and the elevator was just what we needed for our dad. The open 4th floor plan really allowed us room when we had his birthday dinner together. I would definitely come back and most definitely would recommend Luke's place as a great place to stay!

We had a few issues that was out of anyone's control, you still earned (5) stars because you made every effort to take care of the problems and we still had a great trip. We look forward to returning this home was in a great location and my friends loved the house and the wonderful views!! Hope to stay again during the warm weather!!

One of the best accommodations I've ever stayed in, I highly recommend it! The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable, I loved the pillows, in short, I loved everything. The pictures don’t even do this place justice, it is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay- from the air mattress, baby gates, toys for the kids, elevator and beautiful decor. My family thoroughly enjoyed their time and were very impressed with the space. Luke was so kind throughout the stay and made himself readily available for all questions, also making the check in and check out process seamless. Will plan to go back in the future, we even got to fish and enjoy the breathtaking views!

We stayed at this property for a long weekend during a family get together. All in all it was a very nice place to stay with a good view of snow cut. The only trouble we had was with THE code and keypad to get into the house. Not sure what was causing the trouble whether it was Internet or codes assignment, but we did have a good 20 minutes of waiting outside and talking to three different people on the phone to get the problem sorted out. (each time we got on the phone with a new person, they would assume it was user error rather than an error on their end, which was quite frustrating! )I think it would be good to have a physical key somewhere available in the instance of Internet or power outages. The physical key that was supposed to be in the lock box was not there which made the situation very difficult for us. All that being said, we still had a pleasant day with family over the weekend .

Loved our stay! Great location with ocean views from the multiple balconies. Has a great rooftop to enjoy as well! Luke was very friendly and responsive. We felt extremely comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

Luke was a great host! Very responsive. Outstanding customer service. The house is beautiful and in a beautiful location at Carolina Beach. Only a short drive to the boardwalk. We had a few issues which is why I did not give 5 stars. The code to the door did not work. That was frustrating because we arrived at night and we had a toddler with us. But the host quickly fixed that problem. The host called before we arrived to let us know the master bath’s shower was out of service due to missing parts. Part would not arrive until next week. The wifi was not in service so the provider had to come the next day to fix that so no tv that night or morning. I know some of these issues were out of the host’s control and he did his very best to fix things promptly so for that we would use this space again. Started off rocky, but We ended up having a beautiful family weekend.

This place is even better than the pictures and the reviews. Such a lovely space--open, airy, lots of space and seating, large bedrooms, great bathrooms & showers. Luke was simply amazing regarding communication--no matter what we asked him, he responded right away and he made us feel as though he was always there for whatever we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay (3 nights). Check in/out were very easy and expectations were clear. The top (4th) floor was a great space to hang out, eat, and cook. It was very nice to have no bedrooms directly off the common areas. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and very close to a boat launch. Traffic and noise from the launch were never an issue. The adjacent unit was occupied during our stay but we did not hear a sound through the walls. The house was setup well for 8 or 9 adults. The room with a day bed and trundle was quite small and was not the ideal setup for 2 full grown adults (adults 9 & 10), but we made it work. Unfortunately there was no bedding available for the trundle, but after a few messages with the host we were able to attain fresh bedding. A few items were damaged upon arrival, but nothing that greatly impacted our stay. I hope they fix these few items because the house was great otherwise.

My family and friends really enjoyed the property. Found the surrounding area to be friendly and inviting. The house itself presented just like the pictures, modern, functional, and inviting. Luke and his team were very responsive to the couple of minor issues - problem with shower door and towel rod. Great house

This Airbnb was really breathtaking. We came out to Carolina Beach to celebrate my mother’s 51st Birthday and we had a blast! The views were amazing. The pictures on this Airbnb website were amazing to see in person. The home was so nice and clean. The elevator was 10/10, especially once we figured out how to get it to start working lol. It came in handy! My grandmother who is 79 years old, really enjoyed the elevator for sure. Everything was just great. Luke was great, he checked in on us and answered all my questions from the time of booking, until we departed. We will definitely book this Airbnb again when we return to Carolina Beach. Oh and we were only 5 minutes from the beach which was a HUGE PLUS! 😊🙌🏾 Thank you Luke for everything, the family and I really enjoyed!!!

Excellent location, beautiful, complete house, full of appliances for a great experience. The house offers elevation, which is a plus. To be perfect, the owner just needs to pay more attention to the BBQ, Sofa, and patio cleaning. I definitely recommend it and plan to return.

Luke the host was extremely helpful and very responsive. The place location was good, and it was large for all of us. As for concerns/issues: Elevator was just a nightmare, we had so many problems with it. We had to have our grandparents walk the stairs and sometime just carry them to next level. The pots/pans were very old, they were scraping and not healthy. The front lock was extremely useless and not working. spend tours trying to lock it, would not work without hard working on multiple times. I would not rent again due to these issues. The house was beautiful and the beds and bedding were very comfortable! Kitchen was awesome and had lots of seating. Elevator did not come when you pushed the call button and we were all over 60 yrs old it was a bit much going up and down the stairs.

It was perfect for our family of eight adults from three generations. We had a wonderful stay and the home was perfect to give each couple their own privacy. The fourth floor gathering space more than accommodated our needs and even the grandparents in their 80s could be part of everything with the elevator. The decks have great views in several directions. Most importantly , the home is clean and has most of the appointments you will require.

Great place to stay. Luke is very responsive to any issues you might find. Only real issue we ran into, and mentioned by others, is the 2nd king bedroom has no closet or dresser. So for our 2nd couple, they were living out of suitcases for the 4 day stay. Other than that, great stay and home.

This place was absolutely beautiful and was such a great space for our large group. The kids loved watching the boats go by from the balconies. We rented golf carts—perfect for going back and forth to the beach. We’re already trying to decide when we can return!

Loved our stay in Carolina Beach. The place was spotless, convenient, and very beautiful. Comfortable beds, modern fixtures, wonderful views of the river.

Overall the experience was great. Beautiful home. Looked exactly like the pictures. Very spacious and worked for the 5 of us for our girls trip. Elevator is a nice touch for transporting items inside/outside the home. Kitchen equipment is updated and stainless steel and has all the necessary essentials plus a little more. The view of the intercostal waterway from the balconies are gorgeous. As for improvements, the trash was not taken out in the kitchen and there were some other housekeeping/cleaning issues that we addressed upon our arrival. When Luke was informed he was very responsive to the feedback and offered to send a cleaning crew to assist. Also some of the bathrooms either had no handsoap or very little and one of the bedrooms can use a new mattress . Additionally any other issues identified during our stay Luke was very responsive. A few tweaks to the housekeeping routine and this could easily elevate this already great space. I would love to return and would recommend it

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Luke's house. It was perfect for accommodating our 4 generations of family from 8 months to 86 years of age. The elevator was invaluable, and we love the open design of the top floor where we spent most of our time together. All bedrooms and baths were well appointed and effectively laid out. There were great recommendations for destinations and activities, and we enjoyed visiting many of them. Altogether, a wonderful experience and excellent host!

I can't say enough about this property! My husband & I with our 7 teens/adults had an amazing time during our stay! It was everything we could have asked for. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed and more! The beds were incredibly comfortable! We also really enjoyed the convenience of the elevator! We had plenty of space to move around between the 3 floors but mostly loved our time on the 3rd floor gathering around in the beautiful & spacious kitchen where we cooked, listened to music and played games at night. We loved all the balconies with gorgeous views of the water. We took lots of pictures up on the roof, and the sunsets were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed fishing along the water both early morning and late at night, and even rented a boat for a day long excursion visiting all of the nearby beaches and fishing. We absolutely loved our family time making memories at Luke's luxurious home and would highly recommend it as a great spot to vacation in Carolina beach!

Great stay! We found this place pretty last minute and wasn't sure if we should get it for just 3 people. We decided to test it out for the future and were more than pleased. It met our quality and cleanliness standards and offered anything we could possibly need for a longer stay with friends and family. I really appreciated the quality finishes, cleanliness, layout and location. One opportunity is to add a tv to one of the bedrooms on the first floor. Besides that, there's not much else I'd say. The place was immaculate and I'm certain this would be a go to spot for us when we're innthe area. Awesome place with awesome hosts!

Very beautiful stay

Our first large family vacation was a success thanks to Luke's place. Our ages ranged from 6yrs old to 75 yrs and the house accommodated us all, it was as pictured and described. Elevator was a big plus, beds were very comfortable, and the multiple balconies were perfect. This home is not short walking distance from the beach, but a quick 5-7minute drive, which was a plus. If you're coming to do boating or fishing the home sits right on the water. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very nice. We were very close to grocery stores, activities, and restaurants.

Luke’s place was great! Very accommodating for my elderly parents who stayed it us. The elevator was a game changer for their independence and mobility. Over all the home was clean. Small area in the family room needed my attention after we checked in. Luke was prompt to responding soon as we booked and answered all our questions. Beds were amazing and felt very homey . We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach which was a huge plus and make the location spot on for our family. We will be back!

The home was beautiful the location was great the bed and bedding were amazing. The only negative thing I could say about the home was there are no dressers and one of the master closets were locked so you had nowhere to store your clothes, nor did you have anywhere to hang them unless you went to another floor , other than that it was amazing and Luke was very responsive and very kind!

Beautiful home, great view and neighborhood. If the elevator worked as expected, we could have taken my 80 yo mother out to explore the city and beach. I have the following recommendations for your future guests; Add TVs to all bedrooms; ensure that the TVs are all working; let guests know prior to their arrival of things not working properly; there is a foul Oder in the laundry closet. Though my review may seem negative, it’s not meant to be. The items listed are items that prevented me from giving a 5 star review. The location was great and peaceful. The house has great potential. Noticeably, what could have been better is adding TVs to the all the bedrooms and not just 3 of the five. Could have been more clean especially the bathroom shower doors, windows in family room, floors and sofa. Other than that the house was as pictured; we had a relaxing nice time.

This home was absolutely beautiful. Great decor and very welcoming. The location is super close to EVERYTHING. So easy to get around. Only flaw in all rooms, no place to put clothes, we lived out of the suitcase. kitchen was amazing to cook in. Stocked for a large family. Really loved all the balconies. All had chairs to relax or just enjoy the outdoors It was very easy to feel right at home. All bathrooms were stocked and clean. Very easy to keep clean and do laundry. I would absolutely recommend any large family stay here. Kids loved the place as well.

Me and My friends chose this place for our spring break. Loved it here it was the best place we’ve stayed and want to come back for many more trips in the future. The blanket next to the couch wish I knew where they got it from cause it was the coziest. Great restaurants near by and the beach was amazing. I recommend anyone who wants to stay at the beach and go fishing to stay here.

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The property is large, well equipped with everything needed for your stay, and a responsive host makes it the perfect option for a large group at the beach. Luke was responsive and provided clear instructions! We loved our stay!

Great house! Tons of room and beautiful. Had a question and the owner got right back to me. Elevator can be a little sticky but we figured it out. Only suggestion would be to bring kitchen towels. Perfect place, would definitely recommend. :)

Exactly as advertised. Would stay here again 10/10 times. Great entertaining space in the open top floor with the kitchen having bar seating, island seating, and dining room seating, along with the spacious sectional couch in living room. There are a lot of stairs, and decent amount of up and down, but the elevator is an option if the stairs are a determent.

This place was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever stayed! Everyone in our party was comfortable in the house and it was very well stocked! This made cooking seamless but there were several great restaurants near when we didn’t want to! Definitely a gem and our host was very responsive to all concerns! We will most certainly revisit when we get the opportunity!

We very much enjoyed our time at Carolina Beach. The house was beautifully appointed with everything you could ask for. There was plenty of space for my family (4 adults and 4 adult children) to spread out and be comfortable. Our Thanksgiving meal was a joy to cook in the spacious kitchen where almost everything I needed was found.(no hand mixer nor blender but those might not be needed by most families renting!) The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds so comfortable. I did wish that there was a grill(gas or charcoal) so that I could have cooked outside for a couple meals, but we managed inside. Also, I will add that the elevator was very tricky to keep functioning, however Luke responded immediately each time we had to reach out about it. With 3 stories(4 with the carpark level) a functioning elevator is such a great amenity. Overall this was a fabulous getaway for us and we would definitely return.

Luke was an amazing host. He really went above and beyond anticipating needs i.e. having q-tips, cotton balls and floss sticks in the bathrooms. French press, Keurig and brew coffee makers as well as stirrers just so well thought out. Beds were comfy and water views so nice. You will not be disappointed if you book this rental.

The home was absolutely gorgeous, many times we’ve stayed at other places going on how the pictures look and have been totally disappointing, but this home is exactly how the pictures look. We had a little trouble with the elevator on our last night but we made it work with me still recovering from back surgery and my sister using a cane/walker in a 4 level house with the kitchen and living room on the 4th floor was challenging. We were looking for a place near the beach but not insanely expensive and came across this gem. It's close enough to everything to not be a burden, but in a quiet location near the water. We really enjoyed our quick weekend getaway. House was beautiful. It was well equipped. Quick drive to the beach. Close to everything. Luke was available whenever we needed him. Only complaint would be that we could never figure out the elevator. With that being said we definitely recommend the house.

Beautiful house! A tad expensive for one night (especially the fee). We checked in late so we didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as we would line too.

Our stay was enjoyable and pleasant at Luke's place! The Airbnb pictures are exactly what this townhouse looks like. It's centrally located and a short drive to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and stores. The place is bright, quiet, comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own privacy. It has nice views from the balconies and the crow's nest was the highlight for our teen, who loves taking pictures of nature and she was able to capture magnificent pics! We enjoyed the early coffee time while viewing the sunrise on the balcony, a priceless treat! Although there were a few issues on the first day, Luke's communication was great and he took care of it quickly. His actions show how much he cares for his guests and we truly appreciate that. Our only issue was some minor housekeeping in a few areas, but nothing that prevented our stay from being nice. Overall, our family had a good time and recommended this place to anyone visiting Carolina Beach! Thank you Luke!

We loved Luke's home!

We absolutely loved staying at this home in Carolina Beach. The deck views on every level were immaculate and we loved watching the boats come and go. There is a boat ramp in the back yard basically which makes this super ideal for boating. The house was gorgeous, new and well decorated. It was only 3 of us so we had plenty of extra space and didn’t even use an entire floor. You can tell the house was made well and had a lot of thought put into it. Will definitely book here again!

My family and I had an amazing time here at this lovely home! Everything was perfectly clean & we felt so relaxed and peaceful. Everyone commented on how beautifully decorated everything was too. We would love to come back soon! 🤗

The house is beautiful and has such a presence about it: the light, the features, the location... perfect. The amenities provided are of a high standard, and the communication with the professionals was above board. My family had a wonderful time using this robust home as our base when traveling to/from the beach and surrounding area.

Luke’s place was as described. Luxurious, peaceful and right by the water. (Inter Coastal Waterway) There was a minor issue upon arrival but it was quickly rectified and fixed. The beds were very comfortable and the home was comfortably air conditioned. If you’re looking for a prime spot near Carolina and Kure Beach then this is your place. Highly recommended! Our first impression of this house - check-in was supposed to be at 4, we arrived a little after 4:30 and the cleaners were still inside the house rushing to get it "clean". When my mom went in to find out if they were almost done, the cleaner was rude to her. At 4:55 we were finally able to go in. The house was not fully clean-pet hairs everywhere, smudges on the fridge, coffee grounds spilled in drawer, sheets missing in the twin trundle beds. The elevators never worked, the HVAC on the 3rd floor didn't work. The TV advertised in one of the king rooms wasn't even plugged in and we couldn't use. When the host gave us access to the keypad for the linen closet, it was a MESS inside. towels thrown about carelessly. Also, there were towels left in the dryer from the cleaners. We did our best to put the house back in good order, but were very disappointed that our very short stay was like this. And our host's only remedy was to give us $50 for the inconvenience, which I don't know if he has even sent us. It's a beautiful house, but definitely not worth the price for 1 night, very overrated

This rental was fantastic. The pricing, communication, cleanliness, location, and layout were great. The property is spacious, modern, and very comfortable, and Luke is a wonderful host that communicated throughout our trip. I strongly recommend booking this property.

This luxury getaway was the perfect place for me and my family to relax and unwind. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Luke was such a responsive and helpful hosts. He answered all our questions and even checked in on us after we arrived to make sure everything was going fine. The home was absolutely gorgeous and clean. We were pleasantly surprised that they provided us with so many amenities. We enjoyed watching the boats and yachts go by. The elevator was a lifesaver, it definitely made unpacking and grocery store runs so easy. We enjoyed this property so much that we extended our stay. I have already recommended this property to my family and friends. We are looking forward to coming back for our family vacation. If you are looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway I would definitely recommend this place.

This location was everything they listed and more. The host was very responsive even after my family and I arrived. The area was very peaceful and quiet. I left some very valuable items after check out the hosts went above and beyond to make sure I got my items they even drove them to me hours away. I will not stop raving about this home! I have already shared the link with several friends who also enjoys a nice beach getaway. The home was clean and beautiful. I looked forward to going to bed every night because the beds slept so great and the sheets were so soft. Everything was as it claimed to be, luxury. I have been to many Airbnb's but this one had everything you could imagine to enjoy your stay. The beach was a quick 5-minute drive or Uber, $5 bucks. If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Carolina Beach area, do not hesitate, this is the one. Luke was the most wonderful host, responsive, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

This home is a fantastic place to stay! Clean, comfortable, beautiful, and well-stocked, our family and friends really enjoyed being at this property. The kitchen/dining/living space on the top floor is full of natural light and has plenty of space for a larger group to move around easily and cook. Everything was very neat and clean, and while I don’t expect every place to have starter items beyond the very basics (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap), this house had everything we could need, and it was so appreciated. I would absolutely stay at this location again.
