Matthews place was beautiful, he was very responsive and helpful when needed. The house was just as described and so close to the beach, I would definitely recommend here and would love to come back!

Me and my family stayed at Matthew’s place when visiting Wilmington for my nephew’s wedding, the place was very clean and very roomy, felt like home. Matthew was very quick with responding when I had a question and extremely pleasant throughout our stay,

A place to make the best memories. Plenty of space for our family, with gorgeous views of the beach! Highly recommend this wonderful beach home. Steps to the beach so made it very easy to carry our beach gear and our toddler. Definitely saving to our favorites as we will be back when in the area.

The place and location were amazing! Check-in no issue. Additional towels available. Quick walk to the beach! The issues came when we went without water for 14hours. I never heard from the ‘host.’ I’m convinced that Matthew is just AI. I heard from members of the management company after 8 hours of no water. They offered to refund our remaining stay to find lodging elsewhere OR move the 4 of us to a 1 bed/bath 30 minutes away. Not until I asked for compensation and to speak to a manager did they actually send someone to look at the issue. If that plumbing and management issue hadn’t happened, 5-stars! But it did happen and I’m NEVER working with this rental company again. So stay here but I caution you if anything happens… you are on your own. 😬

Beautiful home, Easy check i felt like i was at my own house

We had a great stay at Matthew’s place. The house was very nice with lovely decor and a well stocked kitchen. It had comfortable beds and lots of places to sleep for two families to comfortably share. We loved the location and the short walk to the beach. The only downside for us was that we had our two dogs with us and the back yard area was overgrown with weeds and sand burrs and was not good for the dogs to have space to exercise and go potty. Our dogs got many sand burrs in their paws :(

We had a big cheer competition in Wilmington. Great place and was very spacious for family of seven. Walking distance to the beach. We had a great time. Matthew was very nice and quick to respond. Thank you. We will definitely come here again.

The place: Gorgeous, spacious, clean, welcoming, and exceptionally furnished. Everything you need is provided, from spices to utensils to linens to games. The location: PERFECT! Literally steps from the beach, you can see it from the primary bedroom and living room. You can sit on the balconies and watch the ocean waves while enjoying your coffee or a meal. Also located minutes from tons of places to eat and visit. The hosts: Matthew is incredibly responsive, professional, kind, and helpful. He provided clear instructions for access and our stay, and every time we reached out, he got back to us within minutes. Check out was a breeze. We had just one issue where the downstairs heat wasn’t working the first day- unfortunately it was so cold out we could therefore not utilize the downstairs or downstairs bedroom that day. However, Matthew was very responsive and dispatched an HVAC professional who responded in the morning and replaced the thermostat entirely. I would stay here again!

Overall we had a nice stay however, the Airbnb had a few issues. The small issues were resolved quickly and promptly which we appreciated! However, when the heat stopped working it was a lot more difficult to find a solution. I believe this was on the management company and not the actual home owner. They did eventually resolve the issue so we could finish out our stay. The location was awesome as we were steps away from the beach. The home was beautiful and spacious, perfect for a large group.

Enjoyed our stay! Super responsive to any questions we had. Only drawback was the beach access nearest us was closed for a project, but the nearest open access was two blocks down. Very walkable to get to the beach accesses. Great time! Would definitely stay again!

Spacious house, tastefully decorated and well located. I liked that you could hear and see the sea from the balconies. The master bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was very nice. The location deep inside Carolina Beach is great for a feeling of peace and quiet.

Really comfortable stay at Matthew's beach house. They have ALL the amenities in the house which was super helpful and made staying there easy. Quick walk to the beach and short drive into Carolina Beach.

My family and friends had an Awesome time in this home. We walked to the beach every day. We were just a few miles from wonderful restaurants and attractions like the boardwalk. There is also some great golf less than 20 minutes away. Matthew was an excellent host very responsive and accommodating

The place was gorgeous as pictured and very pretty beach. The beach was not as easily accessible due to rocks and having to walk a longer way than expected and having to walk under private boardwalks to access beach. Matthew was very responsive when the access code did not match and informed us where a physical key was for us to check in. Overall, we had a great girls trip and plan to come back to Carolina Beach!

Matt was a very responsive and clear in describing his residence. Having the master bedroom on the second level provided privacy, and proximity to the washer and dryer. The residence was one street over from beachfront making access to beach easy. However, senior citizens should be aware that there are lots of stairs to enter and go up to the second floor master bedroom. Also, the bathtub in the master bedroom needs to be upgraded for the safety of seniors citizens. Yes we would return especially with bathroom safety additions. Finally, Matt was a great host.

Trust the pictures and description—it’s 100% accurate. The walk to the beach takes less than a minute and we did it easily with four kids in tow. This is the most well stocked home we have ever stayed at. Minus snacks and food—we didn’t need to buy anything. You truly don’t need pack a single thing other than clothes. Ample beach supplies, chairs, toys, umbrellas under the steps. Would definitely stay again!

I appreciated how quickly Matthew responded to my inquiries kindly and efficiently! The house was wonderful and absolutely perfect for a little girls trip! The house was incredibly clean when we got there and it was very well stocked with everything we needed to easily make food together and share meals and games in the downstairs space! The beach access near the house was a short walk to a clean, mostly empty beach. This would be a great vacation spot for families! The waves were a little rough so pack a floaty! We greatly enjoyed our stay and would come back every summer if possible!

Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. Well furnished kitchen that felt just like home! We appreciated the collection of games and the kureig coffee pods! Two lovely decks where you can sit and listen to the waves on the beach. We highly recommend this place!

We stayed at this charming beach house in February over Valentine's weekend with our 5 kids. Let me just say not only was it stocked with everything that you could need while you're traveling but the renter (Matthew) went out of his way to accommodate changes to our travels plans and he was very open with communicating all the information that we needed prior to check, checking in, checking out. It was such a breeze. I would recommend to family and friends. This was a wonderful home to stay in and so close to the beach. Only about a 5 minute walk. Thank you again!
